Attention this is for all new freshmen at Macon state college!!!!

These are just a few things that you should know.  This is not high school any more so be prepared to have to depend on yourself to meet deadlines from now on. So you might want to get yourself a very good planner and check it every day as to not get behind on things. Also, there are no morning announcements any more so check your email that you had to set up at the beginning of the term as often as you can there are also two other school websites you might want to check which are Banner web where most of your grades will be posted, and vista where your class assignments will be posted. A lot of the better teachers will not take attendance and that is a way to know how they are because they understand the fact you are in college and it is your responsibility to go to class. You may also want to make plans for you next seceduale of classes ASAP because classes are based on a first come first served and so if a class gets filled there is no getting in after that. You might also want to ask friends what they think about a teacher and try to find out what ever you can about a profecur before you sign up to take them. Along with this you might want to make shure you a lot time to do other thing along with class work and studying
